Bring Us Your Film

Winters Film Group is actively seeking completed feature films for distribution.

We are filmmakers ourselves, and we understand what it takes to bring an independent film from an idea to the screen. We also know that finishing the film is only part of the job. Finding an audience—and building a thoughtful release around that film—is what comes next.

Winters Film Group works with independent filmmakers to bring select motion pictures to audiences through theatrical release, digital and streaming platforms, foreign sales, and other distribution opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

We are interested in completed, professionally produced feature films with a clear audience and a strong point of view.

We are particularly interested in Westerns, dramas, comedies, family films, Americana, and character-driven stories, but we are open to exceptional films outside those categories.

We are not looking for projects in development, screenplays, concepts, or films seeking production financing. At this time, submissions should be completed feature films ready for distribution consideration.

A Filmmaker-Led Approach

Winters Film Group was built by filmmakers.

That matters to us.

We know how much work, money, persistence, and personal commitment can go into making an independent motion picture. Our goal is to build long-term relationships with filmmakers and find the right distribution strategy for each film we choose to represent.

Not every film belongs everywhere. Some may benefit from a theatrical release. Others may be better suited to digital, streaming, international markets, or a combination of distribution windows.

We look at the film first, the audience second, and then determine where we believe it has the strongest opportunity.

A Fair Deal for Filmmakers

We keep our deals simple and filmmaker-friendly. You keep ownership of your film. We put our experience and resources behind the release, recover our distribution expenses from the film’s earnings, and share the revenue with you.

We don’t believe in tying up a filmmaker’s work for years with complicated agreements. Our deals are straightforward, for a reasonable term, and built around one goal: getting your film in front of an audience.

If we love your film and believe we can find an audience for it, we’ll sit down together and figure out the best way to bring it to them.
